07.05.202607:00:00UTC+00Czech Industrial Output Growth Cools to 0.9% in March, Easing From February Pace

Czech industrial production growth moderated in March 2026, with output rising 0.9% year-on-year, down from a 1.3% increase in February, according to data updated on 7 May 2026. Both figures are measured against the same months a year earlier.

The latest reading signals a slight loss of momentum in the country’s industrial sector as the pace of expansion eased between February and March. While production continues to grow on an annual basis, the softer March figure may point to a more cautious outlook for the coming months if the trend persists.

The comparison period highlights that February’s 1.3% gain reflected a stronger year-over-year performance than March’s 0.9%, suggesting that the peak in near-term industrial growth may have passed, at least temporarily, as of early spring 2026.
